Overview

i60.Cortex is a local-first desktop application. It runs entirely on your computer. We do not operate servers that process your data, and we do not collect telemetry, analytics, or usage statistics.

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your machine:

  • Conversations and messages are stored in a local SQLite database
  • API keys are stored in your operating system's keychain (Windows Credential Manager, macOS Keychain, or Linux Secret Service)
  • Generated files are saved to your local workspace directory
  • Application settings are stored in the local SQLite database

Network Connections

i60.Cortex makes outbound network requests only to:

  • AI providers — Your messages are sent to Anthropic or OpenRouter (depending on your configuration) for AI processing. These providers have their own privacy policies.
  • MCP servers — Servers you explicitly configure and connect to
  • Update check — On startup, the app checks for new versions by fetching a static JSON file. No identifying information is sent.

Third-Party AI Providers

When you use i60.Cortex, your messages and conversation context are sent to the AI provider you have configured (Anthropic or OpenRouter). You should review their privacy policies to understand how they handle your data:

  • Anthropic: anthropic.com/privacy
  • OpenRouter: openrouter.ai/privacy

No Telemetry

i60.Cortex does not collect crash reports, usage analytics, feature flags, A/B test data, or any other form of telemetry. The application does not contain tracking pixels, advertising SDKs, or analytics services.

Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally, uninstalling the application and deleting its data directory removes all stored information. You can also delete individual conversations, API keys, and server configurations from within the application.
